Representative Kristi Noem who is also running for governor, says her focus is to streamline state programs; such as religious, non profits, and other organizations to help address mental health concerns.
Noem says she wants to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
“My vision is not only providing facilities and services, but streamlining our state programs so that we are building prevention and awareness into every area of any state program that we have. We are strengthening families, we are adding values back to the conversation on what it means to be a good community member, what it means to be a parent whose accountable to raising your children in a responsible manner,” said Noem.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says he would like to install facilities in both East and West River to focus on mental health, including the treatment of opioids and meth addiction.
